How did you guys get hooked up with Rebelution and Cisco & Shwayze? What's the story?
We have toured with Rebelution guys before, and we got along well.  They are cool guys and good musicians.  We thought it would make sense to bring em out with us.  I met Cisco and Schwayze on tour and the same goes for them.  Really cool and good music.  It was a feel good vibe all summer long.

Why are you guys touring in Brazil? Is there a big fan base there?
We have been all over the map, but never to Brazil. We are very excited to be heading there.  I'm not sure if we have a fan base there yet. I would love it if we could start going there more frequently.  There is a rich culture and heritage, amazing musical tradition and nice beaches... What more could you ask for?

How did your national tour go? Did you have any memorable moments?
Well this year we did three "tours" and tons of festival shows as well.  Early in 2011 we did an East coast run, in May we did the Central U.S., and this summer we hit the West and East coasts.  We were on the road about 5 - 6 months this year which is average.  Any time you are travelling with a bunch of guys on a tour bus there are tons of memorable moments.  We like to razz each other all the time.  We are all up in each others space, so nothing is sacred...

Where do you guys have the biggest following?
I'm not sure. Anywhere people show up to see us play, We'll do it.  We love touring and performing no matter what.  Whether there is a crowd of 10,000 or 10, we'll do it.

Where is your favorite place to tour or visit, and why?
Anywhere we have family and friends is my favorite place... It's hard to be out on the road so much, going from airport to hotel to bus to taxi to train... Having a familiar face can break the monotony.

What is going to be on the new record to be released in 2012?
I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.... Hahaha, we've got a ton of great material recorded, and works in progress. Some guests and some new flavors
What is the record going to be called? Have you released it yet?
No idea... The name usually comes last.  No.

What kind of music will be featured on the new record?
Slightly Stoopid music... A nice mix of Dub, Hip Hop, Funk, Rock, etc.

Is there any meaning or inspiration for your new record? If so, what?
Yeah, life. Life inspires us. We are blessed to be living the dream.  This record is a snap shot of us, NOW. A moment in time. A reflection of who we are.

Are there going to be any special guests coming up in your tours?
I'm sure there will be...  We love having other artists sit in and bring their flavor to our music.

What are some of your favorite artists?
Fishbone, Led Zeppelin, Rancid, NOFX, OP Ivy, Social Distortion, Snoop, Dre, Parliament, The Meters, The Dead, Radiohead, The Beastie Boys, RHCP, so many more....

Will you be in North Carolina again anytime soon? (For our music blog, that's where we are!)
I hope so, we like NC.
What do you guys do when you're not making music? We're very curious!
Well we all have our own lives and hobbies and many of us have families too.  I love to surf as much as possible. Kyle and Dela also surf alot too. OG is super in to yoga.  Miles is a high school wrestling coach. C-Money has his own band.  Paul teaches and records with other musicians in Boston.

Anything else you want to tell your fans?
We love you and thanks for the support.

Slightly Stoopid is absolutely one of our bands. We listen to them everyday and we want to sincerely thank RyMo for the interview!
